Product Code: IAFLINTS 30g/L Cresol BP IAH Flints Medicated Oil Flints Medicated Oil is a topical oil containing Cresol BP, a widely used disinfectant and bactericide for wounds, cuts and abrasions. This oil is effective against a wide range of bacteria and has a depressive effect on fungal spores. The development of excessive granulation tissue (proud flesh) in horses is a common consequence of healing, and this medicated oil helps to limit the formation, particularly on the lower limbs. By providing a protective film to the healing wound, this oil also helps to prevent against infection and repel irritating flies.
