The table light hardware is a study in compression: an integral dimming system sits within a slender cylinder, invisible until you look for it. The black fabric cord is semi-rigid, not merely decorative. It holds a position, allowing the cord itself to become a formal element, arcing or bending to suit the composition at hand. The stand, currently available in brass, carries a small notch on its underside, so the piece can migrate from a tabletop to a wall without additional hardware.
