DESCRIPTION This tie is of Swedish origin and was sold new at AB Rydholms tailor shop in Gamla Stan, Stockholm. The brand is Simba. It is red with a branch-like pattern and is dead stock, meaning completely unworn. It has a nice label attached at one end. On the back of the label there is a price marked “16:-”, which was likely added much later, as a tie from the period when this was made would have cost only about a tenth of that. It may have been kept in storage and offered for sale again a few decades later, but once more remained unsold. The condition is absolutely perfect.
