A Smart Dial feature recognizes the correct dialing format for the country that is being called and adds digits as necessary. If a data or internet connection is needed, a mini-USB data port gives you access to Iridium data services, even while you are in motion. The dock charges your Iridium 9555 handheld satellite phone's internal battery. An optional Intelligent Privacy Handset is available as an option.
