Jane Mitchell This circa 1970s amorphic abstract graphite on paper drawing is by East Coast painter, printmaker, and designer Jane Mitchell (1915-1988). Mitchell studied Art Histor y and Fine Art at Wheaton College and University of Iowa. She lived and worked in Ibiza, Spain during the 1950s-60s and was influenced by Cubism and Surrealism. Mitchell exhibited throughout the U.S. and Spain during her lifetime. Circa 1970s Graphite on Paper 19.25"x13.25" unframed Signed in the image area. Good vintage condition with minor age toning.
