Coxsackie virus and adenovirus receptor (CXADR), also known as CAR, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that serves as a receptor for group B coxsackie viruses and subgroup C adenoviruses. It belongs to the CTX family within the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily.
