Raphael Roig This 1969 ink and graphite abstract on paper is by Raphael Roig (1923-2014), a Puerto Rican-born artist and architect. He studied at Columbia University, UCLA, and USC , earning master's degrees in architecture, industrial design, and public admin. He became a leading environmentalist for the Air Force and helped design their Academy in Colorado Springs. He lived in Pacific Palisades, CA, where he painted, worked in stained glass, and sculpted in stone and clay. The pieces is the Lost Art Collection come from a small sketchbook Roig kept in the early 1960s. Late 1960s Ink & Graphite on Paper 3.25"x3" unframed Estate stamped lower left, dated lower right.
