SAFE-T-SWITCH SS2-GEN3 Function: The switch uses a magnetic reed mechanism to detect rising water levels in a primary or auxiliary drain pan due to a clog, and interrupts the low-voltage (24 VAC) thermostat circuit to shut down the unit. Installation: It can be installed on the auxiliary outlet of the primary drain pan using the included 3/4-inch adapter. It can be oriented either vertically or horizontally and does not need to be perfectly leveled. Maintenance: The cap and float assembly are easily removable for cleaning and servicing the drain line without needing to remove the entire switch.
