One of Hollywood's most beloved icons reveals all in this magical memoir. Over the past four decades, the landmark television series I Dream of Jeannie has enchanted several genera tions of fans around the world, and inspired millions of teenage crushes on its beautiful blonde star, Barbara Eden. Part classic bombshell and part pristine Hollywood princess, Barbara finally lets Jeannie out of the bottle to tell her whole story, including life behind the scenes of an extraordinary showbusiness career that reads like a who's-who of Hollywood, working alongside stars like Marlon Brando, Warren Beatty, Lucille Ball, Clint Eastwood, Paul Newman, Barbra Streisand, and many more. But beneath all the glitter, Barbara was dealt more than her fair share of personal tragedy; a still-born child, a verbally abusive cocaine-addicted second husband, and the tragic accidental heroin-induced death of her beloved only son. As much a powerful woman's story about overcoming personal tragedy as a behind-the-scenes expose of Hollywood, Barbara shares with trademark warmth and candour the challenges she has faced and how she has maintained her optimism, sense of humour and inimitable Jeannie magic throughout the rollercoaster ride of a truly memorable life.
