A historical thriller which describes a senior ex-SS doctor’s struggle to recover various Nazi treasures lost at the end of the war, so that he can gather the funds to establish a fifth Reich, one that could challenge the hegemony of the USA. The setting is the period immediately after the reunification of Germany in 1990. The doctor, Brigadeführer Kurt Volkmann, has a strong connection with Wales, having lived for many years in Llandudno, and some of the events occur in the Principality. The plot travels from Llandudno, to Germany, to Poland, to Colorado, to Australia and eventually arrives again in north Wales, in Criccieth. Show more
