Cris continues to build on his reputation in the National Football League (NFL) as a star receiver, record holder and award winner. Most recently, he was named the first recipient of the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award for community activities in January 2000, and was the 1999 recipient of the Byron @#179;Whizzer² White Award by the NFL Players Association.Making seven consecutive trips to the Pro Bowl, Cris ranks fourth in NFL history in career receptions, the second among active players. He ranks second in NFL history in touchdown receptions, 10th in NFL history in total touchdowns and is one of four active players in the all-time top 10.
