Y Seren Wib (The Shooting Star) is Tintin’s seventh adventure in Welsh. Out walking one starry evening, Tintin notices a growing light amongst the stars – an asteroid heading towar ds Earth. Fortunately for us all the asteroid misses the Earth, but a piece of interplanetary rock lands close to the North Pole. Tintin and Capten Hadog set forth to find this mineral-rich rock, which also has some strange extraterrestrial properties which sprout up in Tintin’s face.
