This is a children’s book intended to get everybody singing! Inspired by Harry Lauder’s old song, this is a tale re-told for children about Deoch an’ Doris, the two fairies who liv e above the Laird’s front door. Their job is to sprinkle love and goodwill over everybody who leaves the Big Hoose wishing them well and happy on their way. Watch what happens when they oversleep – and on the Laird’s birthday! Yikes! Still, all’s well and it ends in magical song lilting through the moonlit evening. Beautifully illustrated in full colour, this uplifting book emphasizes the importance of spreading good energy and celebrates our braw musical traditions. Show more
