Bruce Gilden first visited Haiti in 1984, during the famous Mardi Gras festivities. Fascinated by this country, he visited it numerous times until 1995, then after the earthquake o f 2010. Gilden observed a poor territory, plagued by numerous natural disasters, but rich in a unique energy.
