Author: Muller, RobbyKnown for his pioneering camerawork and virtuoso lighting, renowned cinematographer Robby Müller collaborated throughout his career with directors such as Wim Wenders, Jim Jarmusch and Lars von Trier. As he worked, Müller maintained his own archive, keeping Polaroid photographs, letters, notes from directors, and his own musings and photographs from set. Now back in print for the third time, this two-volume slipcased set documents this material. In 2016, Müller’s archival material was presented in a major exhibition at the EYE Film Museum Amsterdam, accompanied by the premier publication of this volume. It offers the opportunity to reassess his photographic work, characterised by the same poetic aesthetic that infused his films.ISBN 9783753305271.
