A reissue of the seminal work of Kalandra, which he completed at the beginning of World War II. However, the manuscript was lost after his arrest and deportation to concentration c amps, and Kalandra rewrote this monumental book upon his return in 1945 and 1946. The historiographical work attempts to analyze the oldest historical sources concerning the emergence of our national existence.
