A unique, the very first anthology of previously unpublished interviews and radio broadcasts by the world-renowned writer Arnošt Lustig from 1953 to 2010 brings timeless, still relevant reflections on life, freedom, creativity, and what one must hold onto at all costs, and what one does not need to have. The publication maps Lustig's journalistic literary beginnings through period publicist texts and his later distinctive observations, his relationship with the Prague Spring, emigration, and return after the Velvet Revolution, as well as his views on the teaching of literature and film and on his own literary work.
