For nearly two thousand years, there was only one druid walking the earth, Atticus O'Sullivan. Now there are three. Granuaile has truly become a druid, and Atticus has just rescued his teacher-archdruid, long frozen in time, who now goes by the modern equivalent of his ancient Irish name: Owen Kennedy. Although Owen is doing a good job fixing the tattoos of his former apprentice and quickly getting acquainted with such technological magic conveniences as mobile phones and toilets, the Iron Druid is not at all sure whether this pompous fox will be an asset during the inevitable battle with the Norse god Loki, or rather... a thorn in his side. Can these three druids deal with a conspiracy against druidism? And what role will foxes with too many tails, Hindu demons, Sherlock Holmes, a selkie in love with Rembrandt, Jesus Christ, and even a bear that loves salmon from Alaska play?
