Thirteen-year-old Sarah loves basketball above all else. On the court, she feels capable and important, which is in stark contrast to how she feels at home. Her mom is a bit odd and regularly forgets to feed Sarah. Lately, however, Sarah has been struggling. She is getting slower, missing shots, and noticing that her body is starting to change. Sarah fears that because of her weight and changing figure, she will lose basketball, and she begins to diet. Foods suddenly get categorized into those she can never indulge in again and those she can eat, which are deemed 'safe.' The diet becomes Sarah's only way to keep the situation firmly in her hands. When everything spirals out of control, Sarah must dig deep into her conscience and stand up for what she needs... Recommended age 12+
