The publication contains 50 concise chapters, which actually means 50 surgical procedures, operations, or diagnoses depicted in 412 didactic images with minimal clear text - often in the form of brief bullet points. It is divided into a general and a special part. The general part mainly concerns traumatology, i.e., procedures that a surgeon applies in every surgical outpatient clinic. The special part briefly describes and illustrates surgical procedures in surgical treatment. All the procedures mentioned are completely modern, and laparoscopic procedures are also included. The book is suitable for all novice surgeons, young doctors before their certification, but also medical students can use it to gain a better understanding of the surgical procedures performed. For certified doctors, the book is particularly suitable as a quick 'reminder' of certain procedures that the doctor has not performed for a long time. The publication is a suitable complement to all surgical textbooks and deserves a place in the personal library of every surgeon.
