The presented textbook is primarily intended for students in the nursing field; however, it will certainly also be useful for students in related fields, caregivers, paramedics, healthcare assistants, general nurses, and others involved in providing care to the sick. Although it is a professional textbook, the authors strive to apply theoretical knowledge from the nursing field to practice in an instructive manner. This is possible thanks to the authors' many years of experience in directly providing nursing care and teaching future healthcare professionals. The authors draw from current knowledge in nursing, psychology, medicine, and related fields. The textbook is divided into chapters based on the school educational programs for the nursing field. The three volumes correspond to education in individual years.
