Trevor inherits a cabin from his grandfather and finds himself drawn to the places where he spent his childhood. He returns because he wants to lead a simple life, but in reality, it isn't that simple. There’s Callie, a disgruntled local teenager who clearly knows more about Trevor's grandfather's death than she should. Plus, Trevor can't stop thinking about Natalie, the local sheriff's deputy. In an effort to uncover the mystery and find out what really happened to his grandfather, Trevor begins to dig into the past and realizes that in order to move forward, sometimes we must return to where it all began.
