The book deals with music in all its possible forms in an original way. Is it necessary to hear in order to enjoy music? When did the first musical hit emerge? How does music affect emotions? How and why does musical sensitivity differ in various parts of the world? The book is full of original questions and surprising answers. The author writes not only about composers and works but also about the principles on which music stands and how it impacts human lives. Children will learn who used a bridge as a musical instrument, what a melody looks like, why there are more people with perfect pitch in Asia, how evolution relates to the sense of rhythm, and what connects music with astronomy. The book is intended for children aged 9 and up. It was nominated in the Polish section of the IBBA competition for graphic design in 2017.
