Daniel lives with his partner and their preschool-aged son; he also has an adult son from a previous relationship. His life is quite ordinary and more or less happy. He has a lovely family, a good job, and is surrounded by positive people. He learns from the doctor that he has cancer and has no chance of recovery. He does not want to undergo chemotherapy, fearing its side effects. After a long period of contemplation, he ultimately decides to leave far away from family and friends to try to overcome the illness with a woman who connects him with nature, teaches him to listen to his own body, to experience each moment more intensely, and conducts regression therapy with him. Is Daniel a true fighter who can stand up against established norms and heal despite the medical prognosis?
