The third volume of Unknown Prague will once again take us to lesser-known and often mysterious corners of the capital city. We will discover the mystical Upper New Town with its sacred and university buildings. We will get to know the extraordinary charm of the emergency colonies Na Kotlasce and Na Hájku, visit the old farms in Ďáblice, which used to be a village. We will walk through the old Hlubočepy in the valley of the Dalejský stream, carved into the Prokopské rocks, and the ancient village of Prosek with its thousand-year-old church of St. Wenceslas. "And almost every evening, sometimes even later, I quietly climbed up to Hájek, sometimes to Šlosberk, so that from the top I could not get enough of the view of Libeň stretching out below me, as the lights of Prague sparkled on the horizon." Bohumil Hrabal, Life Without a Smoking Jacket (short story My Libeň)
