When the energy of chi flows unobstructed throughout the body, we find ourselves in a state of balance. We are vital, healthy, and content. Lochan-kung is one of the oldest systems of qigong. It consists of a series of specific exercises that affect the individual in their entirety – touching their body, mind, and spirit, and training all components. With the help of lochan-kung, we stretch and strengthen muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bones, massage internal organs, and sharpen the senses. Above all, however, this practice ensures a harmonious exchange and management of energy. The exercises are explained step by step and illustrated clearly. The medical and therapeutic aspects of each exercise are also described in detail: which meridians are worked with, what indications and contraindications are relevant, and which parts and areas of the body are particularly strengthened. To clearly feel an improvement in the quality of our lives, just 15 to 20 minutes of this beneficial exercise daily is enough.
