Most medieval castles had their own chapels, serving either the needs of the castle lord, the crew, or even the people from the surrounding area. Many of these chapels have interesting stories, whether related to their architects and builders, the authors of the decorations, or the personalities who once visited them. Moreover, chapels often changed along with the castles and their reconstructions in various periods and architectural styles; some were remodeled and redecorated, while others completely disappeared.
