In the streets of Prague, an old legend begins to circulate about the arrival of the Silver Witch, who wields unprecedented power. And being a witch in Prague is no small feat! Ginevra, a young witch from Malá Strana, knows this all too well. Just as she uncovers a major family secret, she falls straight into another mess when something goes terribly wrong during a spell. As if it weren't enough that other Prague witches have it out for her and want to drive her family out of Prague once and for all. Ginevra now has to prove that she and her family belong here. Therefore, she sets off with her three friends on an adventurous journey through time to search for a long-lost artifact. Along their way to the 'silver city,' they encounter some mischievous devils, quirky ghosts, and peculiar triplets in a caravan, and Ginevra's journey eventually leads her deep underground, to beings so ancient that only legends remain of them. Welcome once again to the magical world of the Malá Strana witches, which has captivated both young and old readers. Illustrations by Striga.
