Natty and Sean Wainwright have a rock-solid relationship, two teenage daughters, a successful business, and a beautiful home. When their younger daughter falls ill on a school trip abroad, Natty rushes to her side. Fortunately, Natty's best friend Eve Dalladay is visiting; she offers to stay with Sean and help manage the Wainwright household. However, upon returning home, Natty discovers that Eve has settled into the family a little too well: Sean has fallen in love with her. Natty has no choice but to put on a brave face.
