When alien beings, armed with devastatingly superior military technology, invaded Earth on their conquest expedition, the forces of the Allies and the Axis were already embroiled in a bloody conflict - World War II - that raged across the surface of the planet. Suddenly, however, humanity had to abandon their mutual fighting and unite against a new, deadly enemy. From China to North Africa, from cavalry raids - "hit and run" - in the American West to tank battles in Eastern Europe, a global conflict raged. Now, however, defeats on the battlefields, shortages of supplies, guerrilla warfare in occupied territories, uprisings within their own ranks, and atomic attacks forced the leaders of the alien invaders to drastically reassess their strategy and tactics. Would it be necessary to destroy Earth in order to save it...?
