The textbook Czech Language Overview of Secondary School Curriculum is designed to meet the new format of the maturity exam. The teaching material is divided into two parts - a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part is based on secondary school curricula and the Catalogue of Requirements for the common part of the maturity exam. The guide focuses on comprehensive knowledge of the Czech language and aims for its readers to find everything essential that they may encounter during their studies. For greater clarity and understanding, many examples and illustrations are included in the explanations. The practical part of the book (workbook) contains spelling exercises, texts for dictations, comprehensive language analyses, and so-called tests with closed answers or with a source text, which will certainly help in preparation for the maturity exam and entrance exams for universities. This practical part can save teachers time in searching for texts for dictations or analyses and in preparing exercises. At the end of the book, there is a key with solutions and a glossary of terms.
