During the past decade considerable literature has appeared on the topic of exclusive reactions at high momentum transfer. Two important recent developments offer the possiblity of experimentally testing the theoretical ideas in a systematic way. These are the potential CEBAF energy upgrades and the proposed 15 - 30 GeV European Electron Accelerator, ELFE.This volume records the state-of-the-art in studying exclusive reactions at high momentum transfers and establishes a common body of knowledge to be shared by all.
