Seymour Tubis This late 20th century wood and canvas mixed media abstract on board entitled Western Sky is by Santa Fe artist Seymour Tubis (1919-1993). Tubis studied at the Art St udents League with Hans Hofmann (1946-1949). He exhibited in Paris in 1950 and won praise from Georges Braque. He was Chair of the Fine Art Department at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe (1963-1980).
