A special battery box (made of wood) is also included. It provides power for the LED lights on the structure (building) and for the running of the carriages. The car runs on a switch system, which only switches the car forward / off / backward. There is no speed control function. The anti-clockwise run is going well, the clockwise run is derailing at the points. Uses 5 AAA batteries in all.
