Mk.2 Standard model Improvements: Stainless steel heat exchanger and steatite ceramic thermal break provide enhanced heat resilience and brewing stability. Narrower profile anodised aluminum chimney provides greater heat resistance. Wider 3mm thick Boiler O-Ring for greater durability and longer term reliability. Upgraded casting alloy with precision machined 5-axis milling provides a smooth and uniform finish that is harder wearing. Constructed from fully machined EcoBrass and stainless steel castings, and with no electronics or moving parts (apart from a spring), 9Barista is engineered to last a lifetime. Brew cycle requires 3-6 minutes, depending on stove, with a 25-30 second extraction phase. Maximum time on stove: 8 minutes.
