Feathery flower spikes in a pretty lavender hue brighten summer shade gardens. Growing 24-36" tall, Astilbe Amethyst adds wonderful color, texture and movement to perennial borders , bed plantings and containers. Astilbe Amethyst blooms in early to midsummer, and its feathery plumes are showy in the garden and a vase. Lacy, deep green or bronze-green foliage adds texture to the garden throughout the season.
