The Lectrotab A-BK Linear Actuator is a precision-engineered, fully self-contained 12VDC actuator designed to provide reliable, quiet, and accurate control of marine trim tabs. The A-BK combines Lectrotab’s proven electromechanical actuator technology with standard mounting brackets for straightforward installation on Lectrotab trim tab systems and many retrofit applications. With a 2.25" (57 mm) stroke, an 8-second recommended stroke time, and a 6-foot (1.8 m) cable, the A-BK delivers smooth, controlled trim tab adjustment for improved boat acceleration, planing performance, running attitude, and handling. The actuator is fully sealed and uses a non-metallic external housing that resists corrosion and deterioration from sun and water exposure. Unlike hydraulic systems, the A-BK requires no hydraulic pump, reservoir, or fluid lines, eliminating the possibility of hydraulic fluid leaks and simplifying installation and maintenance. An internal brake system helps prevent unwanted tab movement while underway or backing down, while the protected ram seal helps guard against damage from fouling and marine growth. Each actuator is fully load tested to push up to 1,000 lbs. of force.
