A Crochet Year is a captivating collection of 20 projects made with the seasons in mind: SPRING brings RENEWAL with many of us embarking upon a spring clean to prepare our homes for the year ahead, so the perfect time to decorate the dining table with Floral Placemats. SUMMER is a time to REJOICE in the sun’s warmth, languish in the long evenings, and embrace festival season. Our bodies and minds are re-energized as we feel the benefits of more time spent outside, with a Beach Mat, Sun Visor, and Water Carrier making perfect accessories. FALL allows for REFLECTION with spectacular sunsets and fresh morning air. We welcome the reset and look for comfort and a touch of luxury in the home with a Kilim Cushion. WINTER signals REST. Embrace the season’s festivities by giving family and friends the Classic Ribbed Beanie as a gift before hunkering down, hibernating, and relaxing in the Large Rectangular Wrap. Each section will open with a delightful description of the sights and sounds of that season, providing plentiful inspiration for the projects ahead, and the color palette for each will reflect that time of year, too: think yellows and peach for Spring, blues and greens for Summer, mustards, oranges and reds for Fall, and creams and whites for Winter A Crochet Year encourages you to be mindful of the yearly rhythms and rituals to help inspire and strengthen your craft.
