‘A day like today is not a day for sound bites, really. But I feel the hand of history on our shoulders’ - the eye-rolling words of Tony Blair on Good Friday 1998. Our Belfast Delf t tiles are true ceramic piece - Kiln fired to 850°C in our Belfast studio each tile begins as an original watercolour sketch by Stephen. Inspired by the iconic blue and white Delftware of the Netherlands, itself influenced by Chinese Ming dynasty porcelain, these tiles blend tradition with a contemporary, playful spirit. Each piece is reflective and experimental. They tell small visual stories designed to spark conversation. Each tile is approx. 10cm x 10cm, and it comes with its own little easel. Show more
