Mix hard-hitting drums and bass reminiscent of Shellac & Gang Of Four with raggedly repetitive Fall guitar riffs, spare Wire-y arrangements and Erin Su llivan’s deadpan, nearly elegant Ian Curtis vocals. Could be a drag, but it’s actually a blast. Strangeworld Records highest possible recommendation! The A Frames’ second album - appropriately titled 2 - is the classic followup to their stellar debut. Influenced by their heroes Wire, the A Frames were not content to make their sophomore full-length a copycat of their first.
