A Frosty Feast, No. 29 Four snowmen surrounded by birds eating crumbs. The design by Paula Minkebige has a large scale black and white chart printed 10 stitches to one inch on four A4 sheets with separate charts showing the bird detail each with its own key. The pattern is worked in whole and partial cross stitch, backstitch and french knots using 63 shades of stranded cottons and 11 blended shades with a few Mill Hill glass seed beads 161 crystal over 261 by 80 stitches. The snow on the ground is stitched with a stranded of blending filament either Kreinik 032 pearl or Madeira Rainbow 000 bright white.The model was stitched on 28 count linen using DMC floss. Show more
