Described as "Apocalyptic pop" (Pitchfork) - with due and equal praise for their visual components so often brought to the table with each new track - the "electro-pop auteurs" (SPIN) - present A Lesson Unlearnt. From a golden era when the mix-tape once reigned supreme, Until the Ribbon Breaks has embraced their love of old school pop, hip-hop and electronic and cleverly weaved together original sounds, samples and lyrics, with the production skills not unlike that of previous musical genre-hopping masters such as Bowie, Beck, Prince, Portishead, and Massive Attack.
