A New Colour: Activators The system offers four developer volumes, each designed for specific lifting, darkening, or gray coverage needs: 5 Volume (1.5%): Ideal for subtle tone adjustments, sensitive scalps, and depositing color without lifting. 10 Volume (3%): Used for deepening hues, darkening strands by several shades, and gentle coverage. 20 Volume (6%): The standard choice for up to 1 level of lift with the color base or up to 5 levels when mixed with A New Colour Bleaching Powder. 30 Volume (9%): Provides additional lifting power for brighter, more intense, and bold color changes. 40 Volume (12%): Delivers the strongest lifting power available for maximum color changes and lightening.
