A Resting Place is inspired by my many walks with my sister through the forests near my home in the Yarra Valley. There is a stillness and peace of a woodland forest that not only calms the heart but clears the head. The stresses of daily life seem to melt away in such a place. Capturing that feeling is my goal with this series of images. I want to look at the finished piece and feel that same sense of calm that the forest provides. Layered acrylics and ink on a texture base. This painting is double glazed and is finished with blackened edges and is ready to hang. The Artwork is stamped on the front, and signed and dated on the back, and will be securely packaged for your peace of mind. Show more
