This is a painting of the beautiful Tudor house Little Moreton Hall, in Cheshire, UK. It's a challenge to paint! I have in the past painted a straight-on view of the entrance and f ront in oil, there are very few straight lines owing to the gradual warping of the oak beams over the centuries, but there are many, many details in the half-timbering and the brickwork. The property is owned and looked after by the National Trust and is open to visitors. It is painted in acrylic on a 14" by 10" stretched canvas, and is framed. Show more
