Why Birch Ply? Birch plywood is strong, durable, and sustainable, making it an ideal material for long-lasting birch ply lightboxes and wooden lightboxes. All of the birch ply we use is FSC-approved and sourced from trusted local suppliers, ensuring consistent quality and responsible forestry. Mounting Our lightboxes work perfectly with our slotboard wall system, but it will look equally good perched on top of a shelf or counter top. We can also supply a bracket and use button fix to attach it to virtually anything or we can insert eyelets for hanging if required. How Our Lightboxes Are Made Our wooden lightboxes are CNC-cut in-house at our Stockport workshop and assembled by hand. We use only high-quality 6500k LED lighting, wiring, and transformers, supplied by TAGRA Lighting. The LEDs are mounted onto a reflective composite backing, maximising light output and ensuring even illumination across the face of the lightbox. Who Uses Them Our birch ply lightboxes are used in retail displays, exhibitions, libraries, public spaces, and in the home. Reuse & Longevity Designed for long-term use, our birch plywood lightboxes will last for many years when used correctly (they are not suitable for outdoor use). If you ever experience an issue with the plywood structure, we’re happy to repair it — just bring the lightbox back to our Stockport workshop.
