The A3521BSI3 offers high performance with low-light applications thanks to its unprecedentedly high sensitivity. Using Sony’s STARVIS technology with a Quad Bayer pixel array, the camera’s sensor maximizes light absorption. This allows the camera to use higher gain with minimal noise, and to record at higher frame rates which is ideal for fluorescence microscopy working in the visible emission spectrum, as well as darkfield and other low emission applications. C-Mount The camera uses a standard C-mount lens interface which works with a wide range of microscopes and lenses. It can be mounted directly to C-mount photo ports, or coupled with a C-mount reduction lens for use with 23mm or larger ocular tubes.
