Two folds across an A4 sheet give you three panels on each side and a finished piece that slips into a DL envelope, sits in a standard leaflet rack, and fits a jacket pocket. It is the most ordered format we print, and it has earned that. Printed and folded in-house at our Paisley studio, full colour both sides, in runs from 50 to 1,000 copies. Choose from seven papers across silk, uncoated and 100% recycled — the fold is the same on all of them, but the stock changes the piece completely. Who is this for? The three-panel structure suits the way most businesses actually explain themselves: front panel to earn the open, three inside panels for the detail, back panel for contact details and directions. Service overviews, treatment lists, clinic and salon information, tourism, membership schemes, charity appeals — all sit naturally in that shape. It is also the format to choose if the leaflet has to live in a rack. At 99 x 210mm folded, it fits every standard display we have ever come across, which not everything in this range does. How does this compare to our other folded leaflets? If your content is more visual than dense, A4 Folded to A5 uses the same sheet with one fold instead of two, giving you panels half again as wide for photography. If you have less to say, Bi-Fold is simpler and cheaper. If you have considerably more, Multi-Panel DL folds to the same pocket size but carries up to twelve pages. And if the piece needs a moment of theatre, Gate Fold opens like a set of doors. Volumes above 1,000 are priced individually rather than from a fixed table, which gets you a better rate than a published price would. Runs of 2,000, 5,000, 10,000 and beyond are routine here. A single sheet folded twice in the same direction so one panel tucks inside the other two, forming a rough C shape when viewed from the edge — which is why we call it a C-fold. It produces three panels on each side of the sheet, six in total, and closes to a third of the flat width. One detail worth knowing: the panel that tucks innermost is trimmed 2-3mm narrower than the other two. Without that, the leaflet bows instead of closing flat. Our template has it built in. Which paper should I choose? Silk is the everyday choice — a smooth, lightly coated surface with a low sheen that keeps colour clean and sharp without the glare of gloss. 150gsm is our standard leaflet weight and best seller, 170gsm adds a little more body in the hand, and 250gsm is a light card with a genuinely premium feel. Uncoated has no surface coating, so ink sits into the sheet rather than on top of it. Colour reads softer and warmer, and it takes pen and pencil without smudging — the right choice if anyone needs to write on it, or if you want an understated, less commercial feel. Recycled is 100% post-consumer waste with a soft, tactile surface and a faint natural fleck. If sustainability is part of your message, this stock communicates it before a word is read. Paper is genuinely hard to judge on a screen. What is the lead time for this product? Typical timescale for this product is 2-3 working days from artwork approval. If you have a specific deadline, get in touch — we print in-house, so we can often move a job up the schedule, and we'll tell you honestly if we can't hit your date. What are my delivery options? We send our parcels via courier on a next day service within the UK. If you are in a remote area of the UK, please allow 48hr deliveries. If you are local to us, you can simply click and collect from our studio. Artwork Requirements Please supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF at flat size — 297mm (w) x 210mm (h), not folded size, as a two page file: page 1 the outside, page 2 the inside. Add 3mm bleed around all edges plus trim marks, and keep critical content at least 5mm inside the trim and clear of the fold lines. Images at 300dpi, colours in CMYK.
