Paul McCoy This 1950s ink line drawing of a group of abstracted figures is by California artist Paul McCoy (1921-2005). An artist and writer, he studied at New York's Pratt Institu te and Cornell University, where he graduated with a MA in Literature. In the late 1950s McCoy moved to Majorca, Spain. Following in the footsteps of the European Modernists Picasso and Cezanne, he studied the Mediterranean palette, painting local people and architecture. McCoy returned to California in the 1960s where he continued to paint coastal life with a European influence. 1950sInk on Paper 11"x18" unframed Good vintage condition. Show more
