Jack FreemanThis late 20th century oil on canvas abstracted landscape is by San Francisco painter Jack Freeman (1938-2014). Freeman studied at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, la ndscape and figure drawing with Oskar Kokoschka's School of Vision in Austria, and received his MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in the late 1960s. Freeman's style varied between Abstract Expressionism, the Bay Area Figurative Movement, and plein air landscape painting. February, 1992 Oil on Canvas 31"x25" framed, 30"x24" unframed Dated on the back. Framed in a contemporary wood floater frame with gold face and black sides. Excellent vintage condition. Show more
